If Microsoft have finally decided to put their warchest fully behind X-Box with big studio acquisitions and paying other subscription services to join gamepass then its a battle Sony doesn't have the financial clout to engage in, nevermind win. 
This is the beginning of Microsoft creating a near monopoly in the video game industry.
Oh well I'm going to enjoy one final Playstation console.

Best to just accept it and move on breh. Sony ain't buying Capcom or Square, and even they wanted to why would either company sell? M$ will probably buy up Bungie next and whatever every good indie or smaller studio they can find.
Sony is helpless in such a purchasing war.

You're missing the point. This isn't about Bethesda games. Its about Microsoft swallowing up the rest of the smaller publishers and other subscription services over the coming decade. This is the opening salvo and Sony have no reply.
Sony will be fine they have Japan.
They just have up coming competition, legit competition. More so with themselves, they have to do a lot of adoption, changes and forward thinking.
Especially if Microsoft keeps yanking away the big thrill of exclusively.
