Bethesda said no 3rd party developers will be working on the series anymore. Unless Bethesda sells the IP to some other company they will continue to make more Fallout games.

I think it's possible they sell the IP since they won't see sales on this game like they did in the past. The property is more valuable than their sales profit from the game now. Could be a win for them.

There's no way in hell they sell the ip over a lazy spinoff flopping. Fallout 4 made 750 million in one day.

Alright then it'll be Fallout in name only.and their sales will only decrease as time goes on. This aint COD or sports games that they can pump out every year. The bar for open world games is sky high right now and Bethesda isn't doing enough to set Fallout apart. They aren't seeing those F4 numbers ever again.

I think if Starfield is a hit they might be open to selling the Fallout franchise.

Like I mentioned before the fans have told them what they want in a Fallout game. They just refuse to listen and keep trying to add things nobody wants or asked for.

Bethesda is gonna fukk around and mess up the sales, especially pre-orders, for Starfield and Elder Scrolls 6.

Fallout has been elder scrolls with a futuristic twist and the name "fallout" ever since fallout 3, if that's not your thing you should have checked out after fallout 2.

The last game was 3 years ago and 76 was a lazy spin off, the next mainline entry wont be out till ES6 and starfield releases which aren't releasing anytime soon, a little hyperbolic to compare it to call of duty and madden dont you think?

The next title will make just as much depending how the next elder scrolls (which will also make a shyt load of money) is received.

Do yall nikkas realize how much the fallout franchise is worth?
:gucci:

The last game made 750 million in one day, it made more than the last three call of duty games. Only a few companies in the gaming industry would be able to afford to buy that shyt and they are companies you wouldn't even want to own it in the first place.

Maybe EA or Activision could afford it, but is that really what you want?
:usure:

Never mind the fact that the chances of Bethesda ever selling the shyt is slim to none. Thats like expecting Activision to sell call of duty or rock star selling GTA.

Face it, brehs. We won't see another solid Fallout game for at least another half decade :to:
We not gonna hear anything about a proper fallout game till halfway through next gen, they gonna be releasing 50gb patches to 76 for the next 5 years.

:francis:

They better hurry up and patch in an actual story and npcs.

It might not make a difference who owns Fallout. Zenimax is not much different from EA or Activision. They obviously wanted Fallout 76 to be a success like GTA Online. Except they fukked up by charging it as a $60 standalone game instead of adding an online mode to Fallout 4 from the start.

Plus with the shytty engine Bethesda is continuing to use the same problems will be in all of their future games.
