Whats your main quest progress? I finished at level 43 now I wear....

Maxons Battlecoat with Ballistic Weave 5, it's like 160 physical and energy resist I think

I'm supposed to meet Preston at The Castle to take it back...Level 33....yeah, I'm that kind of player.

Also, two things I just noticed:

One, I'm not sure if unique abilities of body armor applies while wearing Power Armor. I just glanced at my SPECIAL stats while wearing, and none of those +1's I mentioned showed in the pipboy. Once I left the power armor, they took effect. It makes me wonder if other special abilities (reducing damage from super mutants/bugs/etc, slowing down time w/ low health, etc) actually work while in power armor.

Two, I also noticed that while stronger levels of armor requires higher levels of Armor to mod, you can mod lower level armor, remove the mod, and attach it to the stronger armor. For example, I have a set of regular Combat Armor and Heavy Combat Armor. The mod that provides the most dmg & energy protection for Heavy CA requires Level 4 Armor skill to build. However, regular CA only requires a Level 2 Armor skill for the exact same mod. The game allows you to build it on regular, replace it with standard, and attach that mod to the Heavy version of armor. Dunno if this is working as intended, but it seems to be an exploit to me.

I believe power armor "overrides" your normal armor, because you can't change your normal armor inside it, which makes me think the game remembers what you were we,,

Another exploit is the perk for wandering with no companion works with dogmeat and is confirmed to be a glitch by the game guide

Just had the most intense encounter yet. I think I climbed the same tower someone in this thread referenced.
Raiders began shooting at me, and out of curiosity, I flipped the circuit breaker at the peak of the tower.
May as well have been a dinner bell.



A death claw and an alpha death claw came through on some

And cleaned house. I still had a [caution] disclaimer so I knew they were lurking and looking. I told Dogmeat to stay because buddy would have gotten butchered and us spotted.
I hit the stealth boy and crept down. Eventually got them both in my sights but the status went from [hidden] to [caution] so I knew I had to move again.
Tip toed to a new spot like the pink panther and pulled out the Fat Man.

Let one off and it killed the regular Deathclaw before he even knew what happened. It only grazed the alpha and he was pissed .
Dude looked dead at me and hit the

And I went straight into VATS.
I swear I loaded the damn nuke as slow as possible.
My character was

and I'm holding the controller like does this negro know something I don't?

Finally loaded it up and had a 52% to hit. Got him on the money and he dropped dead.
Went back up to grab Dogmeat and he was posted up like "You gon get us killed -- I could have stayed back at Red Rocket for this bullshyt," on some

Gonna upload the vid later but yall boys be careful out here hitting switches and buttons out of curiosity.

Maybe it's because I'm relatively moderately leveled in the grand scheme of things (23) but the worst is when you're up against a ridiculously powerful enemy, go into VATS, have something like a 64% chance to nail four shots, and you miss all but one of them.

The mysterious stranger had to save my ass from an early Deathclaw encounter because of that.
