Compare a game that greatest achievement is its graphics that can be ended in like 5 hours


to a game that focuses less on graphics and more on atmosphere, branching story line, side quests, fully open world, Every character having dialog and half of them having they own side quest missions, some of the smartest enemy ai, building settlements and maintaining it, 100s of different buildings, caves and vaults to be explored

I dudes blow it sometimes, crying about a game u don't even have and being wrong about what u crying about

So everyone complaining about graphics are wrong, and you're right? The fact it uses the SAME engine as Fallout 3 plays absolutely no part in how the game looks? You acting like you had something to do with the development of the game and name calling over it like a little ass kid ontop of it all, you in your feelings.

The Witcher 3 looks better your posts reads like some marketing department shyt from Bethesda, I hope you're getting paid to stan like this. Nowhere have I said it's not a good game, but you're so pressed to defend this shyt that you're acting like a female on some illogical arguments nobody even made. And I have the game on PC, if you're playing this on PS4 or X1 and you talking about it doesn't look bad then......

Metal gear has a lot of the same graphical shortcomings. Outside of the characters faces it really doesn't look that good. Fallout 4 looks a lot better in motion than photos would suggest. It doesn't look as good as some of the better looking games this yen, but it doesn't look "last gen"

And you can't just strictly talk about graphics without talking about scope. As always there's a trade off.

The Phantom Pain is a cross gen game, it looking better than a title that is released on next gen consoles only is embarrassing.

The Phantom Pain is a cross gen game, it looking better than a title that is released on next gen consoles only is embarrassing.

I have it, the game looks to me, and nowhere near the Witcher 3, which is big as shyt.

Witcher 3 looks better, but it's also much smaller in scope. I'm not talking about the size of the world, but more about the complexity of the world and what's available to the player.

And talking about cross gen or not isn't really fair. Fallout 3 could barely run on last gen. There's absolutely no way 4 could be on last ten consoles.

No, not really

Metal gear sacrificed a lot in visuals for stable framerate. They made some good artistic choices to mask the sacrifices but they are definitely there.

They sacrificed graphics/physics for content.. They've always done this & will continue to do it. When u sit and think about how much coding goes into weaving all these quests and stories & shyt together.. It makes sense that something was gonna get less attention.

MGSV.. Beautiful and all.. Is widely regarded as a disappointment

Fallout 4 on the other hand is the GOAT whether it looks like a next gen title or a PS2 title

Plenty of games have been using "the same engine" as before.

Uncharted 4 will use the "same engine" as UC1 that came out ten years ago.

Just because it has the same name doesn't mean the tech has not evolved.

I never said anything about that the graphics were great, I said the game looks fukking good and it's doing more complex shyt than 99% of the game u bringing up

The witcher isn't even a real open world game and on top of that its not even close to being on the same level of complexity of fo4.

So my question is, do u expect fo4 to do all that I mentioned and be real open world and at the same time be the best graphical game on the market, or do u understand sacrifices that has to be made?

Gamebryo has not evolved much, the same core features & legacy issues still exist in this game that were in Morrowind 14 years ago.
