This, I dunno. In Whitney's prime, only MJ was bigger at that time. Maybe Madonna. Huge tours and was starring in movies. In a time of more intense competition she was tossing out consecutive No.1 hits like nothing. People forget what a huge crossover star she was too. The Bodyguard was a No.1 movie. She was about as big as it gets. Sad that Bey and Rihanna will be looked at as her equals in the future.
