Beyonce is a great singer, but people just go too far on both sides. She's not Whitney Houston level, but she's not just slightly better than Kelly Rowland either. She's definitely a better singer than some of the other singers she's being compared to also.
The thing with Beyonce is the choice of music. She won't be taken seriously as a singer until she gets material that showcases her range.

I never liked Beyonce. I always felt like she tried way too hard to outshine the other members in music videos, live performances, etc. Overall she just tried hard instead of letting it come natural. It always seemed like Beyonce & Destiny's Child instead of Destiny's Child.

I think B's looks makes ppl want to take away from how talented she really is. Whitney had the more "grown, mature" sounding voice. To me, Whitney has the "classic" female singing voice which i could understand why ppl may say Beyonce may sound a little pitchy at times. But going off pure singing ability tell me what Whtney could do that Beyonce cant

I like Beyonce, and think overall she is the biggest entertainer since MJ. I also think she catches unjustified flack because of how she looks. Typical light skinned girl shyt. And she has better music on her albums that don't get play on the radio, like most artists. But to say she's a better singer than Whitney is blasphemy.
