Beyoncé isn't touching Whitney. Not even close. Whitney is from a era before vocal correction and pitch correction and auto tune. She also was singing at a time when recording was permanent and analog. Can't do over and over like Beyoncé can.

So many posters in here are over the top. First of all the OP is an idiot and his premise is wrong.
But alot of you are underestimating her as a singer. One of the biggest test as a singer is how good you sound in acapella and she always is on point with that. Yeah alot of her music is trash but something happened to her after 1999/2000. She was a good singer then but average but she just ascended.
Listen to her again at the Bet Awards from last month when she performed Freedom with Kendrick or Halo when Michael Jackson died.. She has very great voice control. Now she is nowhere close to the legends but all of yall need to stop pretending she is an "average singer". Its bullshyt. I dont like alot of her content but she made her dues in terms of singing, she worked hard with that.

Beyonce is prolly the goat female performer. But she will never be in the same tier as whitney or mariah in terms of pure vocal talent.
For me personally, i just never gravitated towards her music. I still put janet jackson and mary j blige over her as well.
