Mulatto as in Brazil or DR. Those are a mulatto race.


What does race have to do with admixture? Race doesn't exist but ethnicities do.

So you're saying the majority of AA's are this?

If race doesn't exist than how can there be a mulatto race? Everyone on this Earth is mixed, but it just depends on how much admixture they have. And like I said again most AA's aren't that mixed. Notice how I said the maximum is 20% for the average AA. And also 15-20% isn't enough to have a big impact on the phenotype.

And I didn't say race had to do with admixture, I exactly said the opposite, I said race has to do with phenotype only.

But anyways lets not derail this thread.

2. I know. I already stated that. Which is why I said genotype doesn't correlate with phenotype for the most part. Also I already said "race" mostly has to do with Phenotype.

2. Again 15-20% is insignificant. Again look at Don Cheadle. You can tell AA's from Ghanains and Nigeria's but you forget AA's are a mixture of MANY African ethnics, even a lot from Upper West Africa AKA the sahel, who a significant number of AA's descend from(just look at early AA music). These people from the sahel can easily pass for AA.

IMO though.

Many phenotypes of AA's can easily be found in the continent. Even in Nigeria which IMO is the most diverse country in Africa due to having the largest population and 200+ ethnicitys. These Northern Nigerians can easily pass for AA's also.

I know you'll disagree but to me they look like they'll easily blend in Atlanta without their traditional clothing.

My original point was that AAs aren't any less "pure" than Africans on the continent since there are plenty of tribes with similar admixture rates. Africans have an inferiority/superiority complex is baffling, especially against your own people but whatever.

Are you saying that I'm African?

All I just said is that AA's are not that mixed, but really mixed with many African ethnics that gave them a unique and diverse look. That's not nothing to ashamed of or having an inferiority complex, that's something rather interesting IMO.
