im literally working at facebook now lol, they are trying to become a consumer products company and are spending a billion of dollars on it

its an open question how successful it will be but in a couple of years you will see a bunch of FB aka Meta products on the market

I have an interest in Meta, but they are putting all their eggs in the Metaverse AR/VR basket. shyt they even changed their name because of it. They’ve sunk billions into it with no product other than the VR headsets (which don’t bring in much revenue at all). Ad dollars are down, everybody is moving to TikTok. If AR/VR doesn’t pan out, or if Apple does it better, Meta is in a world of hurt. It’ll be an interesting next 10 years for the company.
