If you can't go any further then you may have to revisit the area.
I think there are chests and a plant seed but I'll check..

What I usually do is explore the whole area until I can't go any further.
Once you reach Joffre Street the game starts to open up for more exploration options.

oh no I was able to progress…I’m in the arsenal now…I noticed that I had the fist and the drill but still missing a 3rd major weapon…thought it’d be in the prison but I think I just need to go further into the story to get it after looking around online
still playing this before I fully commit to deathloop which looks like it’ll require all other games be put on hold lol
can’t say it enough but this is a perfect homage to super metroid…comes equipped with all the gaming frustrations that went hand-in-hand with other class NES/SNES games lol

Quick tip:
Before you finish the game make sure you collect all of the mystery shards.
There are 4, but kind of tricky to get.
just made it up to these nikkas.
I beat dude with an ounce of health left like “yes!
”next thing you know there’s 2 of them at full strength
I know how to beat him the first time now w/o losing health
which should give me a fair shot at beating both of em
ok beat him by himself no loss of health or anything so I’m at max power, energy etc. against the 2 of them now

...also, in the Powerstation you'll find Shock Batons that Parry, also.
I got the shock batons but what other parry move is there?

the shock batons are ok but it takes up EP so I don’t use it
