Still not seeing the correlation. Being sexually promiscous does not get you any of the things you mentioned besides maybe money. Black men do not control the narrative that installs these values into black women. Black people do not control the narrative period. The only thing black people are responsible for doing is teaching their kids not to value stupidity. That is not "mens" fault that is the job of both parents. Using the "mens fault" line removes accountability and places blame on someone else. There are tons of parents who instill proper value into their children.

Being sexually promiscuous brings attention- see social media, world star, etc.
Being sexually promiscuous brings security-sleeping with so and so provides a basic need...

Its not about using men as a fault or scapegoat, its about realizing that we all are complicit in creating a society where these people are celebrated. Parenting ultimately will not prevent a person from doing what they want to do.

It's the reason I deleted a lot of photos/content off my instagram. My mom also follows me on instagram and some other people I know and I don't want them seeing me doing too much.
Plus I was tired of the photos getting reported. I used to do the videos like that and the photos.

look at it like this,
we criminalize whores, but we glorify whoring as an institution. we are okay with whoring as long as it serves a function for the greater good(porn, sex in the media, etc). but we criminalize it when a woman takes agency over her body and says she will do with it what she pleases.

thats how i feel about this. we celebrate the hyper sexuality within our culture but we demonize those individuals within it. the same could be said for young black men. we glorify thug culture through our music but demonize the individuals who reflect our values.

Our society values thot culture. Our society values thug culture. Both exist to serve the privileged population.....

Oversexualized is like hypermasculinity. Basically, meaning things become a problem when they are all-consuming. Nothing wrong with a person being comfortable in their sexuality.

Oversexualization is when that becomes all that you are perceived to be either by yourself or others.

Example: You may see whores shaking their ass in order to arouse other's sexual desires. I see chicks having fun dancing. In that case, you may be oversexualizing them and not seeing the full aspect of their humanity.
