I know sting said years back that he never went to the WWE due to his fears of how he would be used and that comment the rock made to Booker T, but is this match really never going to happen? Both are :flabbynsick: right now, but damn if this shyt doesn't get done in the next 2 years it will be a huge opportunity lost IMO. Have either of them commented on it much? I have searched the internet and found a couple of clips fans put together, but nothing solid. I understand that sting is under contract with TNA, does anyone know when that possibly ends? Excuse how out of date I am, but with the recent news of Scott Hall, Jake The Snake, and of course DDP I am starting to slowly give it a shot once again.

Also, is there anything about Colt Cabana possibly resigning with the WWE? Thanks for the knowledge brehs.

1. That "time" has now passed

2. He'd HAVE to job. No way Vince would let a WCW guy waltz into WM and end the streak. It would kind of make the streak meaningless and give it a WCW/TNA>>>>WWF feel

3. What's the angle going to be in 2013 of all years? Back when they both were working full schedules it would of been a better build up and angle, but now it would be :flabbynsick:

4. I can't imagine Sting allowing himself to get the tombstone for a pin or Taker tapping to the SDL.

Because Sting was scared to lose his legacy and be jobbed in WWE.

At one point he was on some high moral ground about it, but that's complete bullshyt now as TNA is more adult oriented than WWE

Sting was smart enough to know that he was never WWE material, if onl his delusional fans could see this. I mean I loved sting back in WCW hey day, but yall actually want to see a person using a 80's face painting gimmick fight one of the goats

this woulda been the perfect match at the perfect time. Sting is a real a$$hole for not going thru with it. I dont wanna hear this b.s about "being scared how his character would be treated..." Its fcking wrestling. Who cares. Stop taking yourself so seriously. So you might have to lose a match --- Jeez Sting, you've only made millions of dollars in your career. You dont think you can suck up your ego for year, and give the fans one of the few, remaining, dream matches left? Too late now.

That match would get no sold by the current WWE fanbase. These fans can barely give Hart,HBK and others from that era a decent pop how they gonna get hyped to see a :flabbynsick: Sting who half the fans probably never heard and believe he's the person to end the streak?

This match would've been a big deal in 2002 or 2003 but at this point it's pointless.

People seriously need to let this go already. Sting's 54 and Undertaker can barely walk. It's over, it's never going to happen, move on to more realistic things.

I'm sick of hearing about people crying over this match not happening or Sting fukking over the fans (a ridiculous, impossible proposition. Wrestler's wrestle more to satisfy their own markisms than anything. They, fundamentally, do not wrestle for you) or whatever. He didn't want to do it. Point blank, period. And now the time for it to happen has passed. Grow up.

It's not going to happen now. They had their window of opportunity two years ago. With the whole 2-21-11 promos that had everyone believing that Sting was going to show up and challenge Taped Fist Taker. Now, that ship has sailed and no one cares. It is one of the last dream matches that people want to see but both Taped Fist and Sting are :flabbynsick: And Sting thinks that Vince will shyt on his legacy something terrible so it ain't happening.

I'm sick of people crying over Bryan and AJ splitting but people do it. And this match would have been 100 times bigger than some fan fiction bullshyt. Would have been something exciting and different.

Hell, just give me their two intros and cut to some commercial break/promo afterwards like they've done with Taker the past few weeks, and I'm happy :heh:

People are getting REALLY stupid in here.

By the time WWE bought WCW, Sting was old and done with traveling 300 days a year. Combine that with his thinking of being booked wrongly, he did what he thought what was right for him and his family.

I don't think people know how good his scheule in TNA is. He barely wrestles, has to show up 4 times a month max and gets paid $500,000. Which comes out to about $10,000 an appearance lol. Just to show up.

Why give this up? Yeah he could have made double this in a year in WWE, but it's also 5x the amount of appearances (this in back in 200.

With them throwing out this part time deals to people now (Lesnar, Dwayne, etc..) he should take advantage of it, I do agree on that.
