Most of the PlayStation exclusives are exclusive because of situation.

Usually the Nintendo systems tech isn’t strong enough or different enough we’re its not worth trying to port and Xbox doesn’t have a big enough presence in Japan to even worry about making a port and trying to sell.

So they end up with a lot of exclusives just because.

In general I’d say exclusives end up being flagship or triple A titles for most systems, Sony has the luxury of exclusives being non triple a titles because of the Japanese market

I'm pretty sure those games are only available on Microsoft supported platforms. How are they not exclusive?
Apparently it’s only an exclusive if it’s not on pc, but Sony Stan’s tend only remember that with x titles

They're only on Microsoft supported platforms.

It's like saying the last Smash Bros isn't an exclusive because it's on 2 different Nintendo platforms instead of one.
So every steam game is Microsoft exclusive? Nioh is on a Microsoft platform now?

There's a reason the larger studios are making multiplats and not exclusives.

The most played games tend to be multiplats.

This isn't debatable.
what does that have to do with the fact that exclusives are better made and more polished than multiplats?

90% of those "large studios" put out half assed, broken, beta copies of games and just finish the game through updates.

Windows is a Microsoft platform. And if the average gamer has to choose between playing a game on the xbox or building a 2-3000$ gaming pc to play the same game then the game might as well be an xbox exclusive.

The same goes for nioh imo.

It's like saying final fantasy 7 wasn't a psx exclusive cause it released on pc. Or turok 2 wasn't a 64 exclusive because it also released on pc.

The average person isn't gonna build a pc to play games. Developers know this, which is why half the pc ports don't even work and sell poorly.

Console exclusives are what matters, PCs and consoles aren't in the same competition.
