A lot of others have flipped the sample too. Apollo Brown and Statik Selektah to name a couple. The sample has been used a ton.

Madlib and Alchemist have the best flips of it though, which isn't a surprise.

I'm never sure how many Evidence fans are on this board, but his lyrics are starting to get a little bit coded/Skyzoo-ish since 2014 or so. Not quite on Skyzoo's level obviously, but sometimes Ev uses some lyrics that aren't that easy to pick up on. There's a couple lines in this song I'm not sure I follow just yet.

I could be overthinking it too.

That's a shame. Blu's own people have come out and said that Blu wasn't in a sound frame of mind when he was talking about Evidence and Alchemist had the LAPD kidnap him and his children, and that they stole 6 figures in cash, his studio equipment, and his record collection, etc. He even said the police used illegal telepathy on him. That makes no sense. He was having paranoid delusions, and I've heard that he's better now, and he and Alchemist have put in some work since that twitter incident.

I would expect music from the 3 of them sooner than later, and maybe even on Ev's new album.

Same here. I listened to it in headphones walking to my parking deck from work. It ft the mood. Especially hearing the rain in the background of the song and seeing it fall in real life.
