What would have been if Steph Curry never came out of nowhere

How many rings would Bron have
Would CP3 be a champion by now
Would Westbrook and KD be the major dynastic squad in the west?

curry didnt come out of nowhere. he was one of the biggest stars in college basketball.

and its a team sport. the warriors as a team was dominant & ridiculously stacked.

A Buckeye State Of Mind
Warriors always belonged to Steph, which is one of the reasons KD left. It was never "his team or his system" Durant admitted that Curry is the system there.
KD wants a team and system built around him.
In fact, Ty Lue and Lebron knew it was always Steph Curry that had to be game planned for and focused on.
Cavs weren't really concerned with KD scoring :yeshrug:

This nikka:dead: You're just as bad as Bron stans that downplay Kyrie, love, wade, and bosh. Did you just really say the Cavs wasn't concerned with kds scoring:russ: Actually this is worse than what Bron stans say :hhh:
What's next the sixers weren't worried about Kobe? Steph was the most important piece but really gonna treat a top 20 player of all time like he's Harrison Barnes:mjtf:

If they were concerned the coach would have prioritized him over Steph Curry in the game plan. :yeshrug:
Ty Lue allowed KD to work one on one pretty much all series while averaging 30+, on 55% and 40% from 3, refused to deny or send more doubles. he still felt Curry demanded the defenses attention more than KD. These are the facts from what happened on the court. Not media narrative . He just said it in the clip even after KD hit a Dagger and dropped 43 on them in game 3.

I feel it was a dumb defensive strategy that clearly never worked but this is what he decided on.

Nobody saw Steph Curry leading the Warriors to the Championship prior to the 2015 season, nobody saw 73 wins and back to back MVP seasons. He came out of nowhere

Warriors were not a stacked team before KD joined. They only had one primary ball handler that could create, which is Steph

the ether
...or the Celtics with Larry and Kevin before that.

These dudes on here just be saying chit.
I mean, completely :flabbynsick: 33yo Sabonis with two bad legs was a 16-10-3 guy who could defend anyone, hit the three, and was the best passing big man in the league.

Domantas Sabonis, who is like a miniature knock-off version of his dad with only half the skill, is already an NBA All-Star at 23 putting up 19-12-5 even though he ain't got nearly the height or defense or strength his dad did.

But inserting Sabonis into Portland's lineup wouldn't have made a difference when the guy he would have replaced was only averaging 10-6-1 on poor shooting %'s and couldn't play defense or protect the rim for shyt? :childplease:

Spurs were old as shyt and had their final run that closed the door on the heat's chapter.

Everything was really all set for bron and his new shiny toys (kyrie, love) to win a string of rings and get his finals record above .500 like a real GOAT.

Instead, Curry made that man go from 2-3:picard: to 3-6:scust:. Even worse was that Curry was the young up and comer and bron was the OG, but curry flipped the script and made another roadblock for bron to overcome like bron was the youngboy :pachaha:Curry really altered bron's legacy and caused irreparable damage:wow:

mad respect to KD the video talks about how Curry beating OKC made KD want to come to the Dubs, that never happens without the rise of Steph. :manny:

nikka he won a title as soon as Pippen was old enough to help him all the losses before that he didn’t have nobody
the powerhouse dynasties that came before the bulls were also getting old & falling apart

once the bulls franchise was ready there was no real opps left like that

timing counts for a lot in success
