1.5 blocks a game from a wing player is pretty damn interesting... He's got good vertical athleticism and isn't afraid to use it... He'll need to get stronger but he may project into a nice swing forward if he can get his shot mechanics together. It looks really slow on catch and shoot opportunities right now. Haven't seen enough of how he handles the ball or play makes but if he has that in his bag as a reliable weapon he may be good. Overall these are the kinds of swing for it picks I don't mind late in the lottery.
After listening to multiple reactions to this pick, the sentiment is that the Bulls did right in swinging on him at 11. He was mocked at 5 to Detroit in a lot of drafts.

The red flags in his game are pretty loud however, but that is fine when you are tearing your roster down and going young.

He apparently doesn't care to defend much, heard a quote saying he needs to buy into taking pride in defense and showing defensive competitiveness. Pro Matas people point to his 3PT shooting his senior year in HS as an indicator for him, but that year may be the outlier because he didn't shoot well from 3 prior to then or in the G-League.

Overall sentiment seems modest from most of the guys who cover these guys and the draft all year. His tape looks nice, but he appears to be a RAW project that is extremely confident (which is a good thing)

even passive-p????? :lupe:

:blessed:
If they're trying to be bad, why would you want to get rid of Pat tho?

Just keep him, with the moves they have made, why would you not want to see a young versatile Bulls team out there?

They still need to have capable defenders to play with Coby and Giddey

there is no questions they made the right choice at 11 IMO, they were lucky to have Buzelis available there

I was about to ask why the bulls don't have a pick in tonight's draft, but AKME  in the lonzo signing and got your hand slapped for tampering :snoop:

talk about adding insult to literal injury in that transaction :rudy:

Trading Drummond for multiple 2nds would have been nice right now. Just to add some 5s to the roster today
