If they actually become a prince fan after I say it's a win, a lot people didn't fukk with prince cause they though he was weird or based his music off of purple rain. You really have to listen to each album to get appreciation for his musical genius. If people see that then that is win for prince. Even the super fans on prince.org had their problems with prince. He made "no more candy 4u" for his legion of critical super fans. ( or so they say)

OP has somewhat of a point. I know people acting like they're huge Prince fans when I know for a fact they weren't fukking with him like that when he was alive.
I was never a huge Prince fan, but I acknowledge how great of an artist he was and the impact he made. So I paid my respects and kept it moving. But I see people that didn't even like him like that going on and on making countless posts/statuses about him and putting him up on their profile pics, etc.

Never was a fan of his but still was aware that he was a legend. I'll pay my respects but not act like I was his biggest fan. I see no problem with those who do. Let them do them.
