I just don't like him acting like the system isn't fukked up. He basically said you know they trying to get you so fall back...that doesn't undermine them trying to get you...

Otherwise, he had points.
he knows the system is fukked up and he's right. meek should have been smarter.

i know the police is fukked up but i'm still not gonna let my kids play with toy guns because i know how bytchass police is. :yeshrug:

Beija is mad pretty. My goodness, but why they got her working on a box. :mjlol:

The Krit episode was dope. Is the Clark Kent one good? I'd have rather seen him and Budden talk.

Yep

It's fukked up so many people just know Joe Budden from the beefs but when he actually gives some insight into the industry or maybe even some good points about politics, no one even bothers to see that. That Krit interview was fiyah. Both of them dropped some jewels and Ak had to keep quiet and listen. And Joe is right about the Meek Mill situation; sucks but that judge done seen him a lot of times so I mean....yeah, the writing was on the wall. Sucks and the system is fukked up but never give these folks a reason to lock you up.

An XXXtentacion might be next. Joe gotta point there, too.

... the Friday shows, thats what
It would be less interesting without the artist to artist conversation KRIT and Budden were having. Both understood what the other was talking about when it came to certain things. The entire dynamic of the interview would have changed.

The story of KRIT meeting Budden at one of Budden's shows wouldn't have been what it was on the show without Budden exaggerating. You wouldn't have the part with KRIT trying to get Joe back in the booth. The conversation about the inter workings of the label from the artist perspective(as someone once signed and now signing artists) might not have been talked about in such extent. KRIT talking about networking and Joe understanding that he was terrible to people in the past would have been lost too.

If anything Nadeska would have brought up topics but that's it. As we all saw Ak didn't have much to add. Joe knows how to be entertaining and at the same time let the guest speak and have interesting discussions unfold over time. You know when he's truly invested in the guest and the conversation and at the same time you know when he's not.

Completely erasing Joe from this particular interview would have done nothing but hurt it. The vibe wouldn't have been the same.

Which is EXACTLY why the Friday shows aren’t entertaining without Joe being there. Akademiks played himself by agreeing to do that.

To be honest i think he was only thinking about himself and the extra money he was gonna make and not the bigger picture about the content of the show.

Whether you like it or not. Joe Budden MAKES the show.

Joe is the (former) rapper who has been in the industry, has some insight on how things go, and represents the “older” heads in hip-hop. And Akademiks is the blogger and represents this new generation that glorifies the fukkery. Which is why the show works..

Every time a real notable artist comes on the show Akademiks has barely anything to say. Which speaks volumes..

Same can be said about Budden when one of these newer artists come on the show, that’s why both are needed for the show

You could say that. But Joe doesn’t stay silent. He does engage with them and tries to get a understanding about who they are.

Akademiks just stays silent and has that stuck on stupid look like :dwillhuh:

And The only good one was nore considering he could talk for circles and piggy back off any question or any answer he gives with a dope story n cool opinion.

Action was cool too I guess.

But without joe when it comes to artists shyt all just basic generic questions answers.

They be like so who's your favorite rapper out now?!

So do you have any cool stories you want to share?!
