I find it interesting how Kendrick has been crowned the best ever
But yet very few people can actually quote a verse from him.
Dude makes highly forgettable Music.
he benefits highly off of sounding like he's going in. all in the delivery.
But at the end of the day, quotables really don't matter. We got Rappers and fans out here chasing quotables and memes
you can't be equating quotables and memes..fukk outa here.
quotables matter...only Kendrick fans seem to have the defensive stance with them.
you say a rapper and people got ones they immediately associate with them.
just about any rapper worth their salt has a verse that when your hear that song come on..no matter where you are, house, car, club...you rapping that word for word as good as he is Kendrick (or J Cole for that matter but he's just terrible) doesn't have one.
closest i get to that with Kendrick is the start of ADHD.

mind you kendrick is one of the new guys thats had a few songs in decent radio rotation

For example how many people can name multiple quotables from Scarface? I know people that struggle to name multiple quotables from Andre 3000(rapping quotables). This quotable argument is silly. Nelly have quotables, but I don’t consider him a great rapper.
