cause the singing and trap stuff (i dont wanna do this anymore//look at me) is what got him popping lol, jesus you guys need to think more

how can someone that is in the rock lane even get a look from the rap world? it wouldn't happen

x isnt making experimental rap, everything hes doing has been done before, experimental is iust when you're doing something out of the norm , the thing with x is that he wants to prove he can make all genres of music and make it look easy and stand out from the popular new gen of rappers eg. playboi carti, uzi vert etc , this is why you have him making mumble rap then switching to pop with diplo then switching to depression singing then switching to the singing folk rock style then switching to earl sweatshirt type rap

once u guys understand this then you will understand the next moves he makes
These dude dont know wtf they talking about....

X been doing this type of music

One of the few times I have agreed with Ak. The Carter III is not a classic. The Carter II IMO is by far Wayne's best album and is a classic. Joe and Nadeska was acting like he was tripping, when he was spot on.

this happens more often than people acknowledge on the show. like when Ak was trying to explain to them that Acid Rap-era Chance sounded a lot like Wyclef, vocally. MAD people used to say the exact same thing. joe and nadeska was fronting like he was high tho.

Take away everybodies phones or whatever device they use throughout their day, and you'd realize alot people couldn't function in a social setting for long..
Why would you remove phones/devices? That's exactly the reason why I feel like the world is more extroverted than ever. And people definitely do talk y'all be dragging it lol some people talk too damn much. Nowadays everybody wanna be seen, everybody wants to make their social life public on social media, everybody wanna be lit, everybody is constantly communicating through SnapChat videos, through FaceTime, through IG Live, etc. People are constantly communicating texting back and forth throughout the day. I'm on an internet forum right now talking to nikkas I will never meet.

To me having acoustic guitar and singing softly doesnt really make your music better than the others in his class.. I think its getting overhyped because he stated hes talking about depression and hes "different". Other artists as well as rappers have done what hes done better before .my thing is why are we even entertaining his music if its not even in the vein of hiphop. Like another poster said before hes being disingenuous with what hes doing and classifying it as rap

gonna have to go back and listen to Wayne's tapes again. he dropped 7 projects in 3 years and haven't gone back to any really.

and I don't think wayne has any classic albums, tbh. classic mixtapes and songs and verses. I would put tha carter 3 and the leaked tape at the top; put a few songs from the latter on the former.

Joe likes anything "different". X's album is better than Uzi's but that isn't saying much.

That's where I'm at. I like X, but that album ain't stellar. And the element of "surprise" wasn't there for me, as I've spent a lot of time on the kid's Soundcloud, so I wasn't surprised by the genre-hopping. Uzi's album is just that bad, IMO. I actually recoiled listening to it. It wasn't pleasant.

DUUVALLLL
This is why I hate when these nikkas speak on southern rap. They think most southern artist's best projects are the ones that were the most commercial. How you don't mention Carter 1 AT ALL?! Every real fan of Wayne knows that first Carter was really the 1 that started it all ( its worldsssssss better than 3).

And they think KING was TIP best shyt. Again, everybody down here knows that Trap Muzik and Urban Legend were head and shoulders better, but KING was the one that dropped when he was at the height of his popularity.

These nikkas need to stick to talking about Cardie B and Camron
