People look at "The Carter 3" like they look at "Vol. 2...Hard Knock Life".

It's a classic because its the album that solidified and cemented his stardom.

The Carter 1 is that southern classic that got his name on the map.

The Carter 2 is that General classic pure bars great song soulful and just really set him up to become the best rapper alive. It proved that the Carter 1 was not a fluke.

The Carter 3 is the commercial plastic that propelled them to mainstream status and solidified him as the best rapper alive or at least the hottest rapper alive depending on who you ask.

He has three classic albums.

Facts, even them Eps he was dropping had gems on it but those two tapes Friday Night Lights and warm up are classics. Way better then the shyt vic drops.


I dont get Ak's comparison either but Cole raps just as well if not better then Vic. Though Vic goes a lot more pop then j cole. Vic's music is very different from Cole's imo.

I agree, though carter 3 isn't a personal classic the masses may accept it but real weezy fans know carter 1 and carter 2

C2 is Wayne's best album...

I'm not mad at anyone that says C3 is a classic album, it's one of those albums that felt like an event when it dropped. Mr. Carter, Mrs. Officer, Let The Beat Build, A Milli are classics, Lollipop was a huge single back then. It's not a bad album just fell below expectations, Weezy's hype was insane.
