i know this is a hot take show, but joe goes at ak for some of the weirdest things, its like for as articulate as joe is, he doesn't understand what 'journalism' is. this dude was trying to go in at ak for saying that soundcloud was worth a billion dollars last year, and has since dropped in value.

thats not like, a personal statement from akademiks, ak is just making note on the history of the reported value of the company and joe is all

Joe was trying to say it wasn't really worth that and that it was overvalued based on what the party purchasing believed they could do with it, not based on its actual value at that moment. Joe is just awful at articulating himself when he gets emotional and also he is forcing the drama on purpose.

you right, it just gets grating sometimes when he tries to bark out on ak before ak even finishes a sentence. the discussion wasnt about what soundcloud was worth, ak was just trying to include a newsworthy note about the story in general and they ended up arguing about it and wasting time

honestly, he did really great on other segments today, but he just made himself look goofy re: soundcloud and kodak black
