EBHC is a better show, but Martin is not corny.

Not too many sitcom actors could carry a show the way Martin Lawrence carried Martin. Probably the best/most versatile performer in sitcom history. It’s like he was doing a hybrid of a sitcom and a skit show.

I wonder how good the show would have been if they had better story writers.

Edit: In real time I used to watch Seinfeld over Martin. Took me a long time to appreciate the work Martin Lawrence put in.
