Instead of the realization that these commercials were marketing schemes to get gullible patriotic fukkheads to go out and buy shyt, watch shyt, and be a GAWDDAMN American.
We glorify and romance the concept of these companies and ideals to help us make it in life, instead of realizing that they are trying to get paid. Do you really think Biden could GAF about giving student loans knowing that the banks just want their entire pie? Never saw what the racial background of the students were, but the popularity of the ad in OP points to how long it ran and it being heavily marketed to Black people. So when the loans were forgiven, I have to believe that a large number of Black people got that burden off their backs.
