You can have general knowledge without having kids, but I would agree that we def aint gonna know the whole scope of the deal

That said, just cause someone has kids doesn't mean you should take their advice either. Cause very few parents will question their parenting skills

Bad example. And that "how hard could it be" example probably applies more to parents in our community than it should.


Dentists require at least 8 years of formal education beyond HS, yearly recertifications, and a state board issued license, all of which require proof of competence
- Becoming a Parent is as easy as not wearing a condom one night. No proof of competency or education is required.

No one thinks being a good dentist is simple or easy. But considering the majority of our community isnt disciplined enough to do their best to secure a two parent home for the children before having them, there are probably alot of people who in their actions think parenting is easy.

Results speak loud in parenting. Children experience and are the fruits of parenting. If you've had a parent you should be able to know what worked, what didnt, and why.

Nothing as complicated as raising children is ever as black and white as many of the people who have never done it make it out to be.

It's why most folks with kids will at folks with no kids that give them advice.


Outside of certain basslines of abuse that should never happen every individual child and parent is different

What if the person sees parallels with their childhood? They recognize something the parent doesn't.
