Foles is a good QB but in terms of football IQ..its not even close- I know this because he was bred from a true pro-style offense where he calls his own protections, makes checks at the line- pre and post snap reads- all in college. Foles didn't have that kind of football education. I am not telling you Wentz is perfect- he has flaws but he is NOT the problem with this offense. I have said this before and I will say this again...I think Doug and Groh offensive play design doesn't gel with Wentz- there is a reason we were made aware of his tight Wentz was to Reich (you dont hear him being tight with Doug)

People make too much of the Shrine...you have to remember Chris Long played with Nick before- so he had a relationship with Nick and probably appreciated his grind- Long doesnt have the same relationship with Carson (thats not a knock..just Foles has been in the league longer)

The reason Carson holds the ball is
1.We have no receivers who create any separation aside from Ertz and he was doubled the entire night- There is a reason he threw to Desean as much as he did game 1. The one area I do think Foles is better at- is- it "looks" like he throws a softer more catchable ball

2. The one downside to Carson is he devolves to hero ball...if shyt isnt going right-he will hold the ball to try and go downfield- this is why I dont think Doug / Groh offense gels with Carson- he wants to go down the field as much as possible (but we dont have anyone capable. Nelson is fast but he tracks the ball HORRIBLY and he has feet for hands). The WCO is about short timing throws and I am not sure that is actually the best system for Carson- thats just a hunch

That's something I 100% agree with you on WCO isn't the best for Wentz . he turning into big Ben right before our eyes. Foles was more of the traditional WC QB . touch passes , the anticipation, throwing timing routes . you could tell he knew how run it . Carson seems like he not willing to take the easy stuff let the players make the plays after the catch. We wants to change it like machines mahomes . I agree we don't have the WRs to do that but we our wrs can eat in the traditional WC as we have seen.

Doug gotta watch out he turning into Andy's offense, his twist on the running game made us deadly he gotta get back to that.

See this why I think we should simplify the playbook . I know we have some guy on offense that injured but our offense be devastating to opposing defenses. Hell look at our defense we have one of the best run defensive in the league but our secondary is getting crucified .

We cant really fix the corner position with one player like Ramsey, maybe Patrick Peterson but I dont think the cardinals will deal him. Everybody else is not a real upgrade, Dre Fitzpatrick or Chris Harris or Janoris Jenkins

I think if u add a solid pass rusher on rotation, it could really help the secondary. Maybe it will stop Schwartz from doing those blitzes so much.

I think another proven guy like Dunlap in the pass rush rotation could help the secondary. This Vinny Curry and Josh Sweat thing ain't it brehs.

and AJ Green who can play the outside and slot occasionally is a definite upgrade over Agholor.

Except it was F.Reich who got the running game concepts flowing

Our approach sucks we need more power in the running game

We try to finesse everything

I hate the formations we line up in to run the ball

The play calling has no rhythm.. He just calling whatever no rhyme or reason like he don't know who's playbook he's using in a game of madden

We always try and do zone blocks and edge rushes when we have Jordan HOWARD who only runs down hill

Sanders has jump cut ability but can't go anywhere after first contact and fumbles every 30 touches

Receivers can't get open and when they do they can't catch

And the Offensive line has been getting bullied right over Kelce and Semalou

Carson is the only thing that's working

He's fine and would be MVP with better teammates
And a competent coach

I'm not a big fan of in season moves.

For someone like Jalen, or the Ajayi trade a couple years ago, i get it.

At this point though I'd rather just tread water for a bit and wait for guys to get healthy

I think the East is bad enough that we can do that at this point, and still win the division.

Playoffs might be another story, but if we get healthy and build some momentum towards the end of the season who knows
