You don't see what the Mavs 2000-2006 has to do with anything????? LOL Dirk had talent, KG did not.... Guess what, Dirk got to one finals with all that talent and KG had Sam Cassell and Latrell Sprewell at the end of their careers........ Them Mavs squads was loaded and Dirk still couldn't do shyt with them....... KG was 20 and 10 while Dirk struggled to get 7 boards...... KG>>>>> Dirk...... Ignore or play history huh????? That's your game???? Mavs were loaded and Dirk only got there once cuz the West was down...... KG still put up 20 and 10 with out of their prime Sam Cassell, Latreell Sprewell, and a nikka named Troy Hudson. Stop it bruh

Dirk is one of only 4 players in history to average 25ppg and 10rpg in the playoffs.

"struggled to get 7 boards" :heh: Sounds like an average KG boxscore these days.

Overrate a nikka just cause he talked shyt on the court

LOL at nikkas like you callin folks stans for talkin about history.... Dirk was soft..... Stop callin folks stans because they disagree with your narrative about Dirk.... Dude was finesse and soft... Get over it.....

Yeah, I've been watching basketball. Clearly you haven't.

From 1999 until 2012, only 3 teams made the NBA Finals out of the West. Lakers, Spurs, Mavs. Mavs did it only twice. That's 13 NBA Finals with only 3 representatives. Do you understand why the landscape was like that? Simultaneous dynasties. What do you want Dirk to do? Beat the ShaKobe duo? Only Spurs were able to do that, and that was only once in 2003. Beat those Spurs teams that was winning every other year?(Mavs did in 06, but that's not convenient for your argument)

Just because he's white, european, and plays a more skill and finesse-based brand of basketball that requires touch and shooting ability instead of being a menacing paint protector or back to basket player you call him soft. Lot of anger and name calling in your post. You sound real hurt right now. NBA heads put Dirk at 2 and KG at 5. As far as circle jerking and being dumb pieces of shyt and getting mad at people not agreeing with your dikk riding, you doin the most.

You right, tapes and numbers don't lie. And when you look at both, Dirk has better career numbers, better playoff numbers, anchored a 50 win team for over a decade, more playoff wins, more playoff appearances than KG. That's on top of his obviously better playoff single game performances and being one of the most clutch players in NBA history.

How exactly was he a top 3 pf when kg, dirk and duncan from his era. In webbers biggest college moment we know what happened and in his biggest nba moment he deferred to mike bibby. Webber was very good but if he doesn't make the hall i wouldnt be surprised
Webber was better than Dirk before the injury, and most people saw it that way. The whole perception of Dirk changed immensely after he won that title. I don't think winning a title ever did more to enhance one player's legacy, with the possible exception of Hakeem Olajuwon.

Na he use to have trouble wit peja and Jackson checking him

That "trouble" is largely exaggerated, more often than not he was able to beat smaller defenders and Dirk's been one of the greatest playoff performers in league history throughout his career regardless. Clearly the better offensive player over Malone and Garnett.

And the actual reason teams put smaller wings on him is b/c he was far too agile & versatile for bigs to check him. Not b/c he struggled against them. Like what tf did Shawn Marion do in the '06 WCF?
