The biggest help Dirk had in that series was a 33 year old 6th man and wing defense played by Marion and Stevenson.
KG won his ring playing with a couple guys who could drop 30 any night. Pierce was still an All Star and a top 3 SF at the time. Pretty sure all 3 were All Stars together at the time... Rookie Rondo was the 4th best starter on that team. Think about that.
Again, Dirk beat a superteam while KG needed one.

You do realize the Mavericks made the Finals, 2xWCF, and second round several times during that time span, yes? They would lose to eventual champs or 2nd best team in the league Spurs and Kings those years. Yet you keep coming back to that like it's a negative. According to you Dirk is soft for losing in 2006 in the Finals with his best players Josh Howard and Jason Terry while I guess KG was being a strong man at home eating popcorn watching late May and early June basketball. Like he did pretty much every year.
