If Stephen A is saying Cam won't win the MVP unless he goes undefeated, I understand that statement.

If he's saying Cam doesn't deserve the MVP unless he goes undefeated, then he's full of it.

One is a comment on how the voters will vote, the other is saying he does not merit the award.
He said the first one.

He said if Cam sat out the next two games he should win MVP. He just points out a loss will hurt his case and that Brady will end up winning it.
33 passing. They dont count rushing numbers for a QB. He also has a lowe conpletion % and a qb rating below 100. I dont make the rules breh, im just telling u how it is. Brady still has mvp on lock unless cam can go undefeated

I was going to destroy this post and Stephen A until I actually looked at the video. Then I did some research on the MVP award.

Only one black QB has won it and that was Steve McNair. They only let him share the award with Peyton Manning.

Maybe the breh @Originalman can explain it better, but how the hell did Cunningham not win it in 88 and especially in 90??

He had the TDs, rushing yards and wins. Yet, they gave it to Montana.

So maybe brehs, just this one time in a good minute.....Stephen A was just letting us know how it really is. Cam's got to finish the season perfect in order to be the first black QB to outright win MVP. And the 3rd mobile QB to win MVP (Steve Young, although Steve had a little under 300 rushing yards that year. Steve McNair had just 138)

ETA: Steve did over 500 rushing when he won in 92. So if Cam wins he'd be the first since Steve Young to have that many rushing yards.

So idk brehs. I think Cam still wins it. But a Patriots loss to the Jets and a Cardinals loss to the Packers/Seahawks would certainly end it no matter what the Panthers do. However, Cam and the Panthers can just outright win it by beating Atlanta and Tampa.

It's Cam's to lose at this point. I can't see him losing it unless he loses the final two games.

But, anyone saying ESPN and the media love Brady can get fukked. They slandered him and tried to tarnish his reputation the past year. Diagusting.

finally someone gets it. ill rep ya when im in the green.

I never agreed with Cam not winning MVP because he should but the reality is that these voters are media cac writers who will fukk him out of the award if he doesnt go 16-0 or if Brady has a melt down the final two games and he continues his pace then he can win it regardless if he goes undefeated.

And nikkas were negging me for bringing this up :rudy:

I remember when Vick was up for MVP in 2010.

He could have legit won it that year if he played all 16 games. I think he was on pace to be the first QB to ever throw for 4000 and run for 1000...and while putting up 40 tds.

Besides the injury excuse I would also hear that "rushing stats aren't a big deal. He's a QB." Then the most ignorant argument being that "Judging a QB's rushing stats is like factoring in a pitcher's batting average for the Cy Young." :heh::dahell::mjlol::mjpls:

It's total bs, I couldn't believe what I was watching. Imo for Cam to not win the MVP he would have to lose both of the next two games while throwing 3 picks each game while throwing under 150 yards in both games. This shyt is over Cam is the MVP, which I thought was called The Most Valuable Player not some stat contest which Cam wins that arguement as well anyway. Crown Cam.

Yep. Can you imagine any other player with Cam's resume, like Luck? They would be digging up college teammates for ESPN specials about the championship run. Talking about how he is approaching greatest ever territory. Cam is everything they want Johhny to be as far as run/pass and improv. factor. As soon as Marshawn got hurt and Seattle started blowing teams out, I haven't heard a peep about how Wilson needs beast mode anymore. But they still don't credit him for his work, just silence. Cam and Russ are the future of the league.
