ESPN 30 For 30: This Was The XFL 2/2/17

Jonathan Coachman mentioned on an appearance on The Ross Report with Jim Ross that ESPN is currently working on a ” 30 for 30 ” documentary on the XFL.

Coach noted that they've been watching all the old XFL tapes, reliving the games and commentary. Coach also mentioned that former WWE star Jesse Ventura made $1 million a game at one point in the XFL.

I have cringed every single time I've ever heard the XFL being mentioned....

From the moment I found out Vince was actually going into football (and I knew even then it would flop hard).....to long after it flopped, and everyone started clowning it. I refused to watch a game until I heard good feedback on it....which obviously never happened

I remember being blindsided while watching a Simpsons episode, where they made fun of it outta nowhere....they even had Homer as a fan

I'd honestly rather someone bring up the Benoit murders, Katie Vick, or Mae Young giving birth to a hand than the damn XFL
