He'll end up back with KC just like his predecessor Matt Nagy. He's never getting a HC gig in the NFL. And probably nothing more than a low level HC job in the college ranks.

He might get some other OC looks after a Chiefs rehab

Yeah, I wouldn't say he's anywhere close to done. I mean, some of the worst coaches in history (for both on and off field reasons) have gotten jobs after their worst work. He could easily catch on somewhere to rehab his image and work his way back up. Sucks that he basically needs to start from scratch, but it is what it is.

But you're right that he's probably never going to be a head coach anywhere of note. His absolute ceiling is turning in a late career renaissance as a coordinator similar to what Steve Spagnuoulo has done.

He's an example of when betting on yourself goes wrong. Sucks to see this happen because the Chiefs offense is better with him than without him. It is BS he had to jump through hoops, but he might not be HC material due to people skills. I don't think you can be a drill sergeant if you're not on a top tier team. Based on how players reacted to him post-KC it's clear he didn't know how to adapt to developing teams

They hired V Joseph a HC job before a super bowl winning OC. All im saying something is going with him or someone in the NFL has a vendetta against him.

Sexual assault allegations

[edit]
In 2004, Joseph was accused of sexually assaulting two female trainers while serving as the defensive backs coach at the University of Colorado.[20][21] The allegations were investigated by a state task force as part of a massive recruiting scandal that involved multiple women claiming they were raped by football players.[22][23] Joseph was placed on administrative leave, but after one of the two women involved said she did not want to press charges and the other declined to talk to police, the case was closed and Joseph was not charged.[24][25] Joseph left the University of Colorado and took a job with Bowling Green shortly afterwards. CU’s then-president said at the time that Joseph was also being investigated for sexual harassment in connection with a different incident in which he had sex with a trainer in a campus athletic facility.[26]

The sexual assault allegations resurfaced in 2017 when Joseph was hired as head coach of the Denver Broncos. Before hiring Joseph, Broncos general manager John Elway conducted an investigation into sexual assault and sexual harassment complaints against Joseph and Joseph was asked directly about the accusations during the interview process.[27] Joseph said that the allegations were false but that he was deeply embarrassed by the sexual harassment incident because he was a married father.[28][29]

Even with him being black its strange that he's never had 1 HC job in the modern NFL. Dude must be a real scucmbag irl

I said it years ago, but looks matter. There hasn't been a fat black coach that has been hired since Dennis Green. Duce Staley woulda been had a OC job, but they look at in shape younger coaches IF they gotta hire someone black.

If you white, anything goes. You can be a fat turd like Arthur Smith and get a job, brehs dont have that luxury

Spags still got his shot as a head coach in the NFL.

How did Bieniemy fall this low? OC for UCLA? :what:

He may just be a coaching staff guy. Nothing wrong with that, not everyone is a leader of men. Being a good coordinator can be lucrative in and of itself. He can carve out a nice living stacking NFL checks.

This here.

One of my close friends works in on-field ops for the NFL. He said the HC roles are going to people who know how to "people manage" more than anything else. Coach E might be great at calling plays, but from what we've been hearing from the players about him forever, he's not at his best with dealing with the players directly. Everyone doesn't have that skill.

I wanted to see him secure a HC role, but if that's not what he's built for, I still think he should do what he can in the lane where he's succeeded. The HC thing just ain't for everybody.
