Oh i feel its absolute:whoa:, but thats because I view the social contract differently. Either way its not worth it to debate. Convincing you that you are not free, and have had your liberty stripped is futile. Your an oblivious slave to the state.:to:

Whatever quit dodging explain how you feel that some of these actions are forms of slavery?

The state exercises absolute control through force. I'm not sure what there is to debate/prove? Unless you saying this isnt true, and we are free from the state and its coercion? If this what your saying let me know and ill explain how we are not free.:lupe:

Its text book slavery.
Not early America chattel slavery, with chains, whips and racism, but slavery none the less.

All progressive policies are forms of force/coercion, and comparable to slavery to some people, I understand how/why you feel that way, and its more than reasonable, I'm just saying from their perspective the comparison is fair.

:russ:@ knowing this is an impossible mission(convincing you that you are in fact a slave to the govt.) but entertaining it anyway.

We can just agree to disagree. This is one of those ideological differences we cant debate, cause if you agreed with me, you wouldnt be liberal anymore, and vice versa.

Like I said you don't seem to know what absolute control means.

Its text book slavery.

The conservatives in the op are referring to American chattel slavery.

Going by this incredibly poor logic, ALL policies are comparable to slavery as they always try to coerce or force a desired result. Progressive has nothing to do with it. The comparison is not fair and its highlighted by the right because they love when blacks tear down other blacks and as a side benefit they get to minimize the effect of slavery.

White people tell black people to forget about it. Slavery was so long ago it doesn't even matter anymore. Slavery was about five generations ago.

My mom and dad were born in 1952. The world they grew up in was alot different that the one I encountered. From 11 to 18, my parents saw Malcolm X get murdered, King get murdered, the Voting Rights Act and the Civil Rights Act pass, the murder of Fred Hampton, the formation of the Black Panthers, Race Riots. Makes everything the history books say seem realer. No white man, we can't get over it :camby:

My grandmom was born in 1924. In the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Slave area. My grandfather in 1918 in Norfolk, Virginia. Definitely a slave area. Can't imagine what it was like down there back then. My grandparents were young once like me, and they too had grandparents, like I had them. And those grandparents were old enough (likely born in the 1850s, 1860s, 1870s) to have experienced slavery full on or the Reconstruction period that came right afterward. The same grandmother that helped clothe and feed me as a kid....had direct contact with former slaves (some still slaves) when she was a little girl. Her own grandparents, my great-great grandparents, among them. But, it was oh so long ago :stopitslime: No white man, we can't get over it :camby:

Now flip that. Imagine what these cacs' ancestors were like in the 1960s, 1930s and the late 1800s. All those pawgs you chasing around, remember they had grandparents and great-grandparents too :mjpls:

it is possible to be brainwashed to forget about slavery. look at all the black ppl into sports and not law.
and OP has 2 white ppl and 2 black ppl. those 2 black republicans have been hand picked because they are whitewashed in blackface.
