I've been to Ethiopia few times actually. But holding on to these old views is dumb, Bantus weren't the only slaves either there were slaves from other tribes very rarely were they

Axum was created not only by Habesha, and no such thing as Habesha existed over 1,500 years ago, even Somaliness did not exist. We were all Cush people. I know my history, Somalis were never slaves, and Bantus were brought as slaves by Arabs only the last 300 years. Before that Somalis were fighting Oromos/Amaharas and when the men were killed the Somalis married the Oromo/Amahras and other Habeshas because they fit the Somali standards of Beauty.
