I am Somali, and I vomitted reading some of the stuff.

1. Zeila and Berbera belong to Somalia, and have always been part of Somalia, and are inhabited by Somalis. Yes, Zeila was part of Abbsysina but at the time so was all of Somalia, because Islam did not come to the Horn, and Somalis did not have a sense of being Somali, but were just like the rest of the Cush people in the Horn.

2. The Ethiopian guy (OP), should be ashamed for trying to give advice to thirsty people on here to get your women. 1. lol, you might want to track the reason I even mentioned Zelia/Berbera to understand the context. But the bigger point that was being made that at one point we were one group then we split into two and started fighting over land that at one point was one unit. Somalis are lowland Cushytes, Afars are lowland Cushytes, Oromos and Habeshas are highland Cushytes. For that matter is a sense of being Somali? But what's the problem with Bantus? There were people in the region before the Bantu arrivals anyway, so their deepest roots are more similar to our own. I don't see a problem with the different cultures of East Africa uniting to comprise one nation. The coasts of Northeast and Mideast Africa combined with the lower Swahili coast gives us huge influence in Indian Ocean trade. Plus the combined agricultural and pastoral efforts would bring great wealth and the ability for the nation to sustain itself.

Real talk, if you look to our deepest roots as East Africans you'd realize our southern Bantu brothers in the Nile/Rift Valley region are our brothers.
