No Father To MY Style.. A Son Unique
id put hulk in the top 30 off that desert chase scene alone. the ed norton one is overrated. theye essentially equal.

the watchmen is the best comic movie. if i had to do my list no order

watchmen
batman 89
the dark knight
teenage mutant ninja turtles
the crow
x2
sin city
constantine
conan the barbarian
road to perdition
cap 2
spiderman 2
avengers (2 will prolly blow it out the water tho)
hell boy
blade
xmen first class
bats begins
guardians

the rest range from good popcorn flicks to ehh

edit: guardians is also one of the most well rounded comic films ina while. its better than pretty much every phase 1 marvel film

Ya'll hating on Hulk should give it another watch.

With all the cookie-cutter superhero films we get now (in look, tone, etc), Lee's film is damn near experimental in it's style. The visual look, how it shifts camera angles and edits like a comic book is pretty fukking great imo.

The story has issues, but it's interesting as hell.

I like most of the movies on the list, but the order is out of wack. I feel like Blade should be quite a bit lower, and would probably put chronicle and First Class a little higher. I'm a fan of Thor, but it's not better than either of those.X men 2 is a bit too high also.

Not really, nolan managed to make one of the GOAT comic characters origins seems dull and meandering as fukk.TDKR was overwritten and badly executed trying to make some social commentary to be contemporary. Scust at batman taking 2 sabbaticals in a 2 and half hour movie :stopitslime:

lex luthor is what brings the movie down imo. the movie is damn near perfect until he arrives.

and i ain't got no problem with how campy he was... but imo he just didn't stack up as a villain. the movie felt bigger than that.

once he enters the picture it stops being a story about coming of age and self discovery and devolves into good guy vs bad guy saturday morning cartoon fanfare.

but those action scenes are still piff to me. really think those effects hold up well.
Gene Hackman is a great actor but he put a bit too much ham into his Lex Luthor for my tastes.
The action scenes in Superman 2, especially the fight scenes with Zod and them, were dreadful. And the forced campy humor during those fight scenes in Metropolis were so lame.
