It makes sense that theres only 2 newer 'post streaming' albums there. Although Post Malone sucks, and is he even a rapper? Any song I've ever heard of his, he's singing.
Young kids mostly don't listen to albums, only 'playlists' dictated by the 'algorithm'. As a result its more rare to have a hit album these days, but I'm sure artists like Kanye, Drake, Travis etc have probably a few albums worth of songs that actually stream more than the 15 songs on 'The Score'. Also because Fugees only have 2 albums, and only 1 of them is classic, so if you want to play The Fugees, the algorithm is automatically playing you 90% songs from the album people actually like.
The algorithm can benefit some artists but also may be worse in a lot of cases because as an artist gets more popular, they get recommended more, and get more popular. Its a feedback loop that stacks the deck against other artists.
