pretty much all this....In the first verse it sounded like he was on the right path...his rhymes and flow were on point
...then after that Ren & Stimpy and Public Enemy punchline I just went...

The 2nd and 3rd verses Em's rhyme pattern was all over the placelike he might as well been talking about gibberish...
t sounded like the 1st verse he did months ago..then the 2nd and 3rd verse he just rushed it...like he probably recorded it on Sunday when the VMAs were airing..
I mean shyt I went back and listened to ALL his first singles from all his albums...and the one thing they ALL had in common? Em had a well constructed rhyme pattern and flow...even on Just Lose It he had a decent ass flow and rhyme scheme...and I HATE that song!!
I mean shyt the 3rd verse on all his 1st singles were his best verses and had the illist lines...
This shyt?!? NOTHING!!! He said NOTHING!!!!and I am a fukking Stan but hearing those verse made me realize that Em really does have "Yes" men around him because if I was his manager I would have made sure those verses saw the recycle bin. Matter a fact I would have snatched those off his notepad and BURNED THEM and told him to write that shyt again!

more than likely Em doesn't write as much anymore, cats like Rakim and Elzhi, probably Lupe too stay sharp by writing frequently even on leisure time. When you stop writing it's hard to stay on that same level, that's one reason why cats fall off, not everybody can do that......I know for a fact Em used to write everyday all day, I can tell Em doesn't anymore, probably isn't motivated. If thats the case he can get it back but he has to lock himself in a chamber on some Goku shyt and fill up a few baskets with crumbled paper until that notebook is legit.

Why is he going back to the old single formula is what I wanna know. He was successful with a more evolutionary first single for his steez "Not Afriad". This song isn't horrible, but these fukking punchlines are TRASH. It's more in the vein of without me/just lose it instead of something dope, personal or introspective that would have sold. I thought we was making a mockery of wack punnchline rappers when he did that song with pink on recovery, but it seems like he's actually trash now with the punches.

Song has grown on me greatly. I like it. It could've been better but it's good for what it is. I expect much better as far as album cuts go.

the fact that this song is doing so well is a testament to why eminem sales have no validity and proves that his delusional fanbase will eat up any garbage he throws out.
minus the bars from like 1:30-1:40 this shyt ain't wack....the verses grew on me, the beat grew on me, the hook is dope, the scratching is dope. He couldn't have done the beastie boy impression with the screaming and different vocal inflections, so i get it..
