But yea...this doesn't mean the album isn't gonna have some dope shyt on it, but if the goal is to recreate a "classic" he's already got a strike with this shyt, and it's not because I don't get it, I just don't like it, I would almost rather him being in straight up comedian mode again if we taking it back to that rather than him trying to be witty...

Em was never a punchline rapper, listen to 3 AM...no real forced metaphors, just HARD ASS RHYMES and schemes...that's his pocket, this extra wordy crap with expired ass references is not it...he's not really doing "him" with that type of shyt, he's pandering.

pretty much all this....In the first verse it sounded like he was on the right path...his rhymes and flow were on point :gladbron:
...then after that Ren & Stimpy and Public Enemy punchline I just went :what:...
then I heard the hook and I can't lie I was like :dj2:

Then the 2nd and 3rd verse came on and I just went :comeon::beli::leostare::snoop::why::ld::to::dahell::aicmon:

That shyt was cringe worthy....it just didn't sound like him :lupe:


The 2nd and 3rd verses Em's rhyme pattern was all over the place :snoop: like he might as well been talking about gibberish...

t sounded like the 1st verse he did months ago..then the 2nd and 3rd verse he just rushed it...like he probably recorded it on Sunday when the VMAs were airing..

I mean shyt I went back and listened to ALL his first singles from all his albums...and the one thing they ALL had in common? Em had a well constructed rhyme pattern and flow...even on Just Lose It he had a decent ass flow and rhyme scheme...and I HATE that song!! :pacspit:

I mean shyt the 3rd verse on all his 1st singles were his best verses and had the illist lines...

This shyt?!? NOTHING!!! He said NOTHING!!!! :damn: and I am a fukking Stan but hearing those verse made me realize that Em really does have "Yes" men around him because if I was his manager I would have made sure those verses saw the recycle bin. Matter a fact I would have snatched those off his notepad and BURNED THEM and told him to write that shyt again!

I swear he better rap his ass off on this album....I fukking SWEAR! :demonic:
