According to Crooked, Em felt bad about how shyt played out and wanted to let them have complete control and the idea was to make the next project more driven by Joe's sound.

If that's true, him just fading out like that is fukked up.

Eminem also said they weren't agreeing on beats and songs for the album and Joe asked them to make another mixtape for traction and nobody followed thru... tell the whole story

The thing is, none of those are brilliant but his production style works for him more often than not. I would rather hear him on his own beats than working with every other 'hot' producer if we're not going to get someone solid to look over his project. I still say that Kendrick should EP an Eminem album as far fetched as that sounds.

Watching Jay and Em interviews, dudes gotta be the pettiest people in the world lol. But when you get that much power I guess it's damn near inevitable not to be. I believe it's what people like to hype up as "Boss shyt".

A lot of super successful people are thonl skinned as fukk. That's what drives them. Michael Jordan is another one. To this day he won't talk to Sports Illustrated because they told him to stop playing baseball. He spent most of his Hall of Fame induction talking shyt about the media--and the media loved Jordan!

It's what made him Jordan. He would invent beefs just to stay motivated. Which sounds like a lot of rappers...

Now Joe said himself, which was confirmed by Crooked that he mentally checked out without really telling the rest of the group. Royce and Crooked were still recording material for Joe and Joell to lay verses for but they stopped answering calls and coming to meetings. There's supposedly enough material they could have turned in to fulfill their contract and get off Shady like Joe wanted. But instead of doing that, he decided to blow shyt up passive aggressively which is his MO.

Given everyone's side of the story, all of that makes perfect sense to me.

So weird hearing Eminem say everybody is not going to like everything that you put out in reference to Slaughterhouse's album while doing a promo run for an album he made to shyt on everybody who didn't like his last album.
Also Eminem thinking that pop bullshyt with C-Lo was gonna be "outta here" is a prime example of why that second Slaughterhouse album was so bad. He really and truly believes that nonsense he greenlights isn't trash.

I'm going off the credits. And from what I know On Fire was Em and Kwame.

If you're gonna go by the credits, some of his best songs have his name on them though I'm sure you had the bass brothers doing the instruments.

hes being very particular with his words, he didnt do it directly but he made paul go do his dirty work for him. even sway was direct about being told he wasnt allowed

i feel ems point about joe. joe was dodging eminem hate for months (which he gets no credit for) and oddly enough, he let akademics of all ppl tangle him up and make him go overboard.

i no they aint friends, but still not something you say about someone you are supposed to be cool with, and who helped you out

Listening to Slaughterhouse now. To me, it sounds like Eminem took the 3rd D12 album and gave it to them instead. The material would've worked for those guys I suppose, but it's the wrong fit for Slaughterhouse.

I would assume with Joell it was fatigue fukkin with Interscope. He was rotting on Aftermath before SH kinda gave him some shine and then all of that collapses..he was probably very discouraged with out it played out.
