when asked about production and simply, what sounds good. its clear he doesnt get it. which is kinda sad. but hearing his side of things i believe he honestly had the best intentions for the group. em had the platform but he aint a great business mind.

and Em stated he didn't even know he produced any joints on their first album, most of the songs are co-produced by him.
I believe Em really wanted SH to win. I'm going to have to listen to the album again to see just how bad these beats were because honestly, as big of a fan as I am of everybody in the group and "rippity rap" in general, I didn't even like the album they put out BEFORE shady that much, real shyt.
So I don't remember me not feeling the album because of the beats. I was more so kind of exhausted from switching my attention between 4 different guys who didn't have that much of a difference in style.
I also believe that Em and Joe are both in their feelings, as indicates by their music and could probably talk about this situation more honestly now that it's out in the open. This narrative that Em didn't go hard enough for them is false IMO. I also believe that he's fukking tone def and should really only produce for him self seeing how a lot of those came out perfect for his style of rap. Seems like Joe was going through a lot (family stuff) when this deal went down and that was influencing his behavior which is understandable.

That Shady Slaughterhouse album was garbage. If you got a group of lyricists who wants to listen to bull shyt like this?
I tried to skim through the album after listening to Part 2 and I forgot how terrible that song is. That doesn't belong on a Slaughterhouse album. They had The Alchemist and Araabmuzik at the studio with Slaughterhouse and bullshyt like that landed on the album.
The stuff on their two mixtapes when they were on Shady has better songs then what was put on that album. Shady should of let them stay in their lane and put an album out with songs like these. With the right promo it would have at least went gold instead of going wood like that bs album did.

The best SH songs are Joe Budden driven, which is why it sucks hearing Crook say they were going to give him the lead on the next project because that's exactly what they should have been doing from the jump. But I don't know how well that album does even if Em doesn't touch it. And the hooks are worse than the beats at times.
Still not THAT interested in hearing all of them on the same song unless it's going to be Truth or Truth/Saydatthen status.
