I can't believe I watched part of an Eminem interview in 2018 but Eminem is right about how he never used his platform to knock artists under his banner. How many critically acclaimed albums did Budden ever release? And Eminem doesn't go around knocking Joe for it. It's a good point. On the other hand, if Joe sees himself as an honest voice and authority on hip-hop music, to stay true to his values, Joe has to call them as he sees them, but Em never got on an interview and said "Slaughterhouse under-performed to my expectations, I feel Budden never reallhy made anything of himself".
Listening to Eminem in an interview, he doesn't sound or seem that different from the person I paid attention to when I was in high school. I wish his music was more that way. I miss his old persona on the mic
Joe should be able to speak his mind but I peeped what was gonna happen before it happened.
People kept fukking with him about being biased toward Eminem and egging him on..you factor all that in with his feelings he was already having and what he was saying behind the scenes, I could tell he was going to feel like he had to prove otherwise. But you can't basically accuse Em's "team" trying to come up off the black plight and exclude him from the process.
They gonna promo ANYTHING Eminem does...shyt they ran a PR campaign about him buying his old childhood house and selling the bricks as collectors items
But I don't think him making an attempt to speak on police brutality was for a come up. And I also saw cats on here who don't even like or listen to Em making bets that he WOULDN'T address the current events surrounding race because he's a cac this that and the other. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. fukk "woke" Eminem trying to make 'content', we want a diss album!
I'm glad people are fukking with it but Kamakaze is still not what I want from Eminem.
