Proof was alive for encore:comeon:

And his skill is there, he just has horrible beat selection. He probably should jist try to make 1 real hip hop album with a ptoducer he never worked with.

For what reason? His fans like the music he is releasing. Em making music to please the 1%

Solid album but I predict at least 3-5 more projects dropping that will be up to par

Name them, so I can check for em...

Of course not.

The talk in here is insulting. Em's actual record is the undisputed album of the year. I notice the reaction in here are not even discussing the fact that on one of the songs on this album, he apologized to his mother in a sincere heartfelt record.

Just like my Street King Immortal, it has elements in it that reflect deeper storytelling. Em is conscious of the music he makes and I think he would no better than to go by what members on a hip hop forum believe.

The opinion of the general public is what truly matters. Already the actual release is getting rave reviews in various outlets and contractually Jimmy is currently working on extending Em's Interscope contract deal.

Couldn't make it any further than this, sorry. :yeshrug:

I'm guessing by general public you mean people who are/aren't avid Hip-Hop fans. The typical Eminem/Nelly/Wayne/Drake album purchasers, consisting of white teens, suburbanites, and the top 40 crowd. Not that it makes their opinion on Hip-Hop comparisons invalid, but it's definitely something to :ehh: about. Not only did Pusha's album get exactly what you're mentioning in various outlets, but he didn't have the "popular rapper, platinum albums before, being white = easily getting white fans to buy millions of albums" angle working for him, and still got various rave reviews for AOTY. Agree to disagree though. I hear you, fam.

I listen to Hiphop to hear the lyrics not the beats. People seem so focused on beats these days
I agree and normally I don't care about them that much, but it songs like a$$hole and So Far (em's lyrics suck too) the production really fukks it up and sticks out too much

Em reaching for these high notes on Stronger Than I Was is 2nd hand embarrassment to the highest degree
Lol yea wtf is with this track. It's like a shyttier version of Hailie's Song, and I don't even understand what the point of it is, just sounds like rambling.

Although when he says "fine without you" it reminded me of Kim. "I don't want to go on, living in this world without you" - would've been better if he did a song of angry singing like that
