I would love if I was wrong, but based on Encore, Relapse, Recovery, every other song done in the time frame with a few exceptions, along with Survival and Berzerk - I think it's fairly safe to say that this album will consist of mostly mediocre/bad tracks.

Em isn't just going to flip a switch and go back to being great all of the sudden, unfortunately.

Whole albums. And you're right Encore wasn't bad it was downright atrocious.

Relapse wasn't bad, but it was only average to maybe slightly above average, with a couple of straight bad tracks, along with the bad/annoying accent throughout.

But still there's no way this comes anywhere close to MMLP level, which is why putting out this album is just going to shyt on the name of the original, and shyt on the re-made cover.

relapse was all about word play and horrorcore.
yes the accent was annoying, but i think, at the time, it was done just to put a stamp on a kind of album thats never been said and done before.
but eminem doubts himself too much. he heard demo music frm that skunt holly, made "love the way you lie" and changed..
then we got recovery. which wasnt bad, just not really who the man he is.

Puke, My 1st Single, Rain Man, Big Weenie, Just Lose It, Ass Like That - all garbage songs, and that's nearly half the album (when you ignore skits). Most of the other songs are fairly skippable for me too - songs like Spend Some Time, Mockingbird, Never Enough, One Shot 2 Shot are pretty average at best. Even the songs I would consider better are not all that great imo. The only songs I really love on that album are Evil Deeds, Mosh, and maybe Yellow Brick Road. I know most people really like Like Toy Soldiers, but I'm not real big into that track either.

That's one of my favorite Em songs, but I don't really count those bonus tracks, especially when that's also on the Straight From the Lab EP.

We As Americans, Bully, Monkey See Monkey Do, Can I bytch, Love You More - all really solid songs. Ricky Ticky Tock from the bonus disc is also good. If Encore went more along the lines of that stuff it would have been much better, instead we have half an album with him making burping noises.

One shot 2 shot is average. D12's stuff on that is pretty skippable, and Em's verse is pretty bland

Really nothing lyrically impressive about his verse at all, and the subject matter is just boring.
