True. But majority of COD players on Playstation. They're not going to alienate the majority of their user base in hopes of stealing a small percentage of sony gamers. Their press briefing even says they'll continue to support the communities of the platforms they're on. They want a return on their investment and close to 150 million ps gamers will make that easy to do. Will be timed exclusives at best while its' free for gamepass and charge sony gamers $70 .

This is a big reason for casuals to switch to Xbox. They don't have to pay 70 dollars no more and there will be alot that players that will jump ship and be on board with gamepass. Both Vanguard and Cold War were both in the top 5 best selling games for playstation consoles. Gamepass will be dipping into some of that base.

It's not a death blow of course but it will strongly help microsoft gain momentum here in the west. There's more people that play call of duty games on Playstation then there own exclusives. Plus Xbox is playing nice for all the current communities they will maintain but future call of duty titles the can definitely make timed or have exclusive content not on Playstation consoles to sell gamepass.

Also you realize they now own Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, World of Warcraft and Overwatch and Diablo.
