which projects should i check out of slum village to hear where Elzhi is on all the albums? i dont recall him on vol 1 and 2 (thats all i have heard really from slum village)
You need to check out "Detroit Deli" & "Slum Village" (05 release)

To me personally, eLZhi was at his peak lyrically on these 2 joints from a technical aspect.

1:30-2:35

:30-1:15 . Check out the rhyme scheme he maintains throughout the entire verse

1:30 - 2:15. Quite possibly his most "technical" verse :banderas:

You might want to peep "witness my growth" LP also

Elzhi is so fukking ill dog... Only thing that ever held him back was work rate but that seems to be picking up...This and Lead Poison is as good of a current two album run as anybody's
I REALLY became an Elzhi fan when I heard "Hiding Place" off the Minstrel Show

I'm just finally getting to this album and I was wondering who was the other cat rhyming on this album.. had no idea Khyrsis had bars :ohhh:
I think he was sneak dissing Big Remo with his own flow on that joint.

Khrysis went through a little rhyming period in the early 2010's. 9th Wonder did too. Here's a couple joints they rhyme on together. 9th had a dope rap voice IMO.

I got to see 'em live when they came to Portland brehs :blessed:

Elzhi is a consumate professional emcee :wow:

homie straight rapped for like an hour straight with godly breath control :whew:

I was the only one who recognized him when he was walking into the venue and I totally stanned out :ooh:

ran up to him and told him I used to have an autographed copy of Witness My Growth back in 05 and he was like "thanks fam, you really taking it back :obama:"

I bought a couple shirts to support too:myman:

At the end of the show he was dapping up all the cacs who came to see him but when he got to me he leaned over and gave me a pound and a hug and thanked me for coming out and supporting him all these years :mjcry:

I also bummed a couple smokes to Khrysis and at the end of the show I shook his hand and thanked him for "Starvation" and all the other dope songs he's done.

I asked him about Chaundon and he was noncommittal :ld:

I got a bunch of footage on my IG but it's set to private. I can make the posts public if brehs wanna see and I can post em in here.

fair warning, the audio sounds kinda shytty if you're listening on a phone but it sounds good on a laptop :manny:

Elzhi the best nikka doing it and I'm shytting on anybody who disagree :umad:
