Oversee the money yourself or use your own people.

Exactly.
Start with ONE city and make a model for others to follow. Just eradicate hunger in Soweto or Lahore or anywhere. Just 1.
One city at a time 1 guy CAN do this, because others would surely follow, but he has to dedicate his life and time to it though.

They give away a lot as well.

Problem is unfortunately people suing from getting "sick" if they give away the shyt they toss.

It's always the money...ALWAYS.

Thats the part that sucks so bad. So much expired food has to be thrown away and they cant give it out because of lawsuits. I think they even have to lock up the dumpsters. I understand it, but shyt sucks

Yup. That's EXACTLY why they do it. And again, that doesn't even count the amount of shyt they actually do donate.

Being in the logistics industry and finding out why they do what they do is saddening. They write it all off anyway, so they'd rather give it away, but you have to account for the goofies and crackpot lawyers looking to get over all the time. It's pathetic. So it's easier for them to dump than completely give it away. And yeah having to lock the compactor/dumpster because of dumpster divers is sad.

Had this one lead at my job who dumpster dived product and was caught selling that shyt at the flea market on the weekends only 10 minutes away. :snoop:
If anyone bought that shyt and got sick, guess what happens and who gets sued? :francis:

Fair question but let a nikka tell a billionaire they can help support reparations as a way to rectify generational wealth for ADOS and have that billionaire demand to know where the money is going and ya’ll will be pressed about the questioning as well. :martin:
I don't think people would be upset if he asked the same thing to an organization like say BLM.

There's plenty of food out there the problem is distribution and waste. Wealthy countries buy up most of the stock and end up throwing it away if the food isn't sold within a certain time frame. There's countries that produce alot of food but there people are starving cuz most of it gets exported. Elon knows all this he's just trolling for some attention.

Above the fray.
Not gonna front "solving hunger" seems like something only a God could do.
These organizations deliberately name these grand campaigns to END things that cannot be ended. It's a goal that can never be met, so they have a permanent fund raising plea to cop.

Motherfukkers are crooks and vultures, and poor people are just stage props.

Food is a business. Balancing giving it to those in need vs giving it to free just because is the problem.

Even though Pablo Escobar terrorized and pillaged, he did welfare programs with that drug money. That's why they love him in Medellin till this very day. He would just hand money out and give food away. It was nothing when you're the richest man in Colombia.

very few mostly uneducated people love Pablo Escobar. Colombians at large recognize him as a criminal and aren’t proud of him.

I don't think people would be upset if he asked the same thing to an organization like say BLM.

Depends on how he asked.

if he was asking to show genuine support of the cause but questions about process for funds that’s fair to address.

the way Musk asked sounded like he was insinuating the UN would just abuse the funds hence the reason he shifted the discussion to accusations about UN officials raping/molesting kids
