The only option that is better(Bernie sanders) is too old. The next best options are women and too young(AOC).

The only other option is for someone like Gavin Newsome to go ham on progressive policy in California in the next 4 years and choose someone young to be his running mate. Or Bernie sanders could run and if he wins the primaries he selects someone who is moderate but leans closer to the left to be his running mate like Gavin. This is all assuming that Trump actually leaves office in 2028 instead of engineering the courts to allow presidents to serve for life since there's nothing in the constitution as it was written saying that presidents should have term limits.

He could literally make it into a lifetime position where he appoints a successor--literally a monarchy. But I digress. Saying Josh shapiro is a good pick is like saying that someone who was pro apartheid or jim crow is a good pick for president back in the 80s. That's insane.
