Every argument in that book holds even more true today. All the trends she identified back then have only accelerated and gotten worse.
I doubt she gets elected. But someone with her grasp of what the fukk is really going on economically at ground level needs to be in a position of power in the Democratic Party, and in any future Democratic administration.
