I’m FINALLY playing this game. Been anticipating playing this one for a while. I’ve put quite a few hours into souls games, but this first boss Margit, just whooped my ass idk how many times in a row. If this is a sign of things to come I’m in for a long ride

Only thing that sucks about going back and playing this again is that there are way less summon signs near bosses versus in March a month after launch.

I hate the limited range of the hammers, and on top of that its slow as hell. I also hate having to Buff for 5 minutes before every encounter to make them useful

Yeah I powerstanced colossal greatswords and it's such a badass build but it's slow as hell. Have you tried dual nagakibas on a bleed build? It's basically sellsword twinblades from ds3 all over again but on steroids cuz of the range

Yeah but everyone uses that, wanted to try something different. I got the Blasphemous Blade which is pretty dope, its special does a crazy amount of poise damage

Kinda wanna try to make a build around the bubble horn lol the only issue is finding upgrade materials now, i already used everything on my original sorcery weapons and then the hammers

I guess i should have made a different save for it

Dont listen to the hype. The deaths aren't that painful in this game. It's only painful if you lose a bunch of runes. But if you always use your runes to level up when you have enough you'll be fine and that will will rarely happen.

Also just a beginner tip: don't leave limgrave area until you have atleast 20 vigor or you'll get fukked up

• Death is part of the game, dont think dying means you suck at it. Everyone dies, thats how you learn and get better
• You don’t have to fight everything, sometimes its good to just try and make it to the next site of grace
• Don’t worry too much about builds early on, theres respec halfway into the game
• If you’re having trouble with a boss, go elsewhere, you dont have to defeat a boss as soon as you run into them
• Worse comes to worse, explore, level up and just get powerful enough to out muscle the bosses, you should try and do this anyway, you’ll find good equipment and armor
• Try to find 2 sites of grace as soon as you enter the open world so you can get torrent, your mount, it makes traveling much easier

Have you started NG+ yet? If not you can find the smithing stone bell bearings and give them to the finger lady and the round table hold. There’s 4 each for regular and somber stones. Basically makes it so you could buy them instead of looking for them around the map.

BB builds are great

Pretty much just walked through the front gates of Stormveil and cleared out an entire path to godrick, then put his face in the dirt.

Completely forgot the BB also heals you a little so basically a no hit run lol
