At what point during your playthrough did y’all realize this game was gonna be one of the best games you’ve ever played?:whew:

For me it was shortly after beating Renalla at the academy and climbing up to the Altus Plateau. Halfway up I realized that this game was an all time great :wow:

Then I shot that singing harpy in the face with a flame arrow :banderas:

I knew it would be a great game when i got to the first castle and looked over one of the walls at the great tree or whatever it’s called

I'm gonna hop back into this once I watch a few more beginner videos. I'm not a fan of dying endlessly to learn :russ:

There’s a somewhat steep learning curve and while the game will endless punish you for sloppy tactics and bad habits like spam-rolling, the difficulty is still fair if that makes sense. Once you figure out how to get through a dungeon or handle a certain enemy it’s a lot easier, but even still you gotta be on point when in combat. Eventually you’re able to abuse the game as much as it abuses you

I love when people have a hard time with these games now

most of the shyt is just patience and you ambushing or countering the enemy
you just gotta read what the game gives you ... if shyt is going downhill... then run

dude above me said it right

the game doesnt care and will abuse you... so you have to figure out how to spam and abuse the game first

Yeah, thats the thing with Fromsoft games, theres no such thing as ‘cheesing’ it. Theres no difficulty and no set way to play, they guide you into learning their rules and allow you to break them whenever you feels it’s advantageous to you.

Like if a boss can be spammed with a stagger skill thats what people are gonna use to do it. If players want to make the game easier for themselves the door is open to do it. The door is also open to make the game more challenging, as you can see people using very wack builds or armor to complete the game

Anyone else get stuck on General Radahn? I've been stuck on him for months honestly. I took a break from the game after getting my ass kicked by him a few times and just started playing again last week, and still can't beat him..mainly he gets me with those stupid purple orbs. I try to outrun them on horseback but can't get away. Sometimes I'm lucky enough to have a large hill block the path of the orbs, but that's rare. I use magic from a distance and also the other fighters to chip away his health, but man when he comes back down from the sky in his final phase he's really hard to beat. I may not be ready for him yet, even though I've already beat Rennala.

You just gotta keep summoning people. He’s easy once you learn he’s a gimmick boss

Use Torrent for the entire battle.

Keep summoning and use the summons to keep Radahn busy. While he's busy, attack from the back.

Never attack Radahn in the front.

You can leave level up and come back. If you've already beating rennala and godrick go to the capital or mt. Gilmnear (I forgot the name of the area)

There's three moments.

1. When I beat Margit and realized that Stormveil was a dungeon and just blended into the overworld.
2. Taking the elevator down to Siofra River and realized the map was on some whole other shyt.
3. Fighting Radhan, just in general.
